David Mortimer
Chairman, CEO

David Mortimer is widely recognized for his leadership in the design and implementation of algorithmic and alternative trading system technology. Prior to launching 3D Markets, Mr. Mortimer was a consultant to institutional clients on trading systems and execution implementation at Vodia Group.

Prior to that, Mr. Mortimer was head of algorithmic and portfolio trading at Piper Jaffray where he was responsible for all product concept, design and development including Fusion, Piper's first-to-market ATS aggregation technology.

Mr. Mortimer was also President of Vie Financial, an algorithmic trading business which marked among the top algorithm providers in the Tabb Group's 2005 Equity Trading in America report. Vie was acquired by Piper Jaffray in 2005.


Jeromee Johnson
President

Jeromee Johnson is a widely recognized industry expert on market structure, electronic trading and trading technology infrastructure. Prior to joining 3D Markets, Mr. Johnson was a Senior Analyst and Consultant at the TABB Group, a leading capital markets research and advisory firm. At TABB, Jeromee advised capital market participants, and their providers, on technology and strategy issues.

Prior to TABB Group, Mr. Johnson was Director of Product Development and Professional Services at the electronic trading agency broker dealer UNX. At UNX, Jeromee was a member of the company's Executive Committee and built and managed products, project management and technical sales teams.

Mr. Johnson has also worked Javelin Technologies, Goinvest.com, Daylight Trading and Morgan Stanley. Mr. Johnson holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the American Institute for Computer Sciences.


Donald McGill
Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. McGill has over 25 years experience in public accounting with both national and regional firms with a concentration in the securities industry. Before joining the Company, Don was president of Piper Certified Public Accountants, a regional accounting firm. Mr. McGill served as chief financial officer of Quaker Securities, Inc. (a Citgo Group company), where he headed the finance and compliance activities. While managing these functions, he was also involved in the strategic development of new businesses and an early stage participant in the organization of the Quaker Funds. He was a founding member and director of their investment banking division, Quaker Capital Markets Group, Inc., which is a boutique investment banking firm specializing in funding research and development for early stage and development stage bio-tech and medical technology companies.

Mr. McGill holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drexel University and is certified as both a management (CMA) and public accountant (CPA). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.


Stuart Filippone
Director of Sales

Mr. Filippone has spent the last 15 years on Wall Street, holding senior roles across several U.S. and International equities and derivatives trading firms. Most recently, Mr. Filippone was a Senior Vice President at BNY ConvergEx group dealing in sales of their International access in over 90 global markets. Prior to that he was the Head Trader for Harborside Securities, one of the original U.S. equities block trading systems. While there he developed deep relationships with clients and implemented the firms’ sales, distribution and trading strategies. Before joining Harborside Mr. Filippone was the Director of Equity Portfolio Trading for CIBC World Markets and held positions at Optimark Technologies and Tucker Anthony.

Mr. Filippone holds a BA degree from Hobart and Williams Smith Colleges. He has NASD series 7, 63 and 55 licenses, and is a member of The Security Traders Association of New York.


Scott Larison
Senior Trader

Scott Larison has more than 20 years experience in equity and derivatives trading. On the 3D Markets trading desk he offers clients his expertise in all facets of options trading, including option trade analysis and dispersion, option trading systems, trade execution and clearance.

Previously employed by Radnor Research and Trading, as their Floor Operation Manager on the PHLX, he handled large block orders for institutions and asset managers, pairing them with upstairs liquidity providers.

Mr. Larison has also worked for Knight Execution Partners and Susquehanna. In 1992, he executed the largest trade on any listed exchange at the time, in the French Franc pit, that equaled over $8 billion in underlying value.


Nick Weir
Lead Technology Advisor

Prior to joining 3D Markets, Mr. Wier was Vice President of Data Strategy at Yahoo. Mr. Weir has more than 25 years of professional experience in diverse fields of science, technology, and finance, focusing most of the past fourteen years on developing innovative solutions within the financial services industry. He has extensive experience in the development and management of multiple platforms for electronic market-making, process-based trading and multi-asset risk management.

Mr. Wier has also held positions at Goldman, Sachs & Co., I2M Solutions, LLC, Principia Capital Management, LLC, and Strategy.Com Inc./Microstrategy.Inc.

He holds an AB from Harvard University and a PhD from the California Institute of Technology.


Edmund J. Burns

Ed Burns is an attorney practicing law in New York City since 1967. A New York native, Ed and his firm specialize in matters regarding Corporation Law, Commercial Law, Probate Law, Real Estate Law, as well as Trials and Appeals Law.

Mr. Burns participates in many professional activities including: The Association of the Bar of the City of New York (Committee on Non-Profit Organizations; Committee on Trusts, Estates and Surrogate's Courts; Chairman, Young Lawyers Committee; Special Committee on Second Century; and Library Committee); New York State ( Special Committee on Public Interest Law) and American Bar Association (Chairman, Special Committee on Public Interest Practice; Consortium of Legal Services and the Public; Commission on Interest on Lawyer Trust Accounts; and National IOLTA Clearing House); Board of Directors, Council for Public Interest Law and others.

Eric Goldberg
Board of Directors, 3D Markets, Inc.

Eric Goldberg has more than 25 years' experience in the financial services and financial technology industries. A former trader, Mr. Goldberg has held senior positions at buy-side and sell-side firms, running desks specializing in portfolio, index, and derivatives trading.

As one of the pioneers of multi-asset trading, he is an expert in system development, architecture, and functionality. A renowned speaker, Mr. Goldberg regularly participates in financial industry events.


Joseph J. Murphy
Board of Directors, 3D Markets, Inc.

Mr. Murphy began his career at Chase Manhattan Bank in 1983, where his responsibilities ranged from managing the asset liability gap in treasuries to supervising a sales desk dealing in cash, exchange traded and OTC derivative instruments.

In 1994 he joined HSBC as head of North American Sales for the FCM. He rose to become an Executive Managing Director at HSBC Securities. In 1999 Mr. Murphy was named CEO and head of the global futures business at REFCO and over a period of six years was instrumental in building it into the largest non-bank FCM in the world.

Mr. Murphy launched his own consulting company in 2006, and is currently advising private equity companies in the search for acquisitions in the exchange traded derivatives business.

His professional affiliations include serving as Chairman of the Futures Industry Association, and Vice Chairman of The Clearing Corp. Previously he has served on the board of the National Futures Association, and on the board of Eurex U. He currently serves on the board of the Y.M.C.A.
